I feel very lucky to be part of, and have a studio at South Bank Studios, a group of approximately 19 artist based at Southlands Methodist church, Bishopthorpe Road, York.

I wanted to mark this by capturing their personalities in a portrait. This collection went on to include other artists in the area and 2 of the ladies from the church.

With most of the studies I’ve started with a florescent ground to add a vibrancy to to finished portrait.
